Wednesday, July 15 at 7:00 p.m. Masters of Kent Summer Series presents "With Time Comes Appreciation" A visit with actress  Margo Martindale interviewed by  Ron Marasco. On  Zoom. Please  register for login information.

Thursday, July 16 at 12:30 p.m. Outdoor Program! Lunch Bunch! Fish!  Read fishy books with Mrs. Sam and do an underwater themed craft!  Location: outside behind the Junior Room.  Bring a towel or blanket to sit on plus your lunch. All ages. Please register .

Thursday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. SUMMER READING PRIZE DRAWING #3  Legos & Game Pack. This pack has a Lego City toy, Multi-Level Snakes and Ladders, A Space Shot and a variety of other games!
Reminder: everybody should have their 3rd BINGO boards turned at this program.

Friday, July 17 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. Zombie Barbies. Mrs. Sam will be giving out starter packs for creating a Zombie Barbie. You will receive a Barbie or Ken that's been painted grey, and their clothing. It is up to you to use whatever means you have at home (red, grey or black paint, burning or cutting, gluing etc) to make your doll into the walking dead! You have until the sun sets tonight. Grades 5 and up. Please register  to pick up your materials. Please take a picture of your Zombie Barbie and share it with Kent Memorial Library so that we can all see what others came up with! This event counts as one point towards the summer's 8 point goal - Get 8 points, and you'll earn a $25 VISA gift card!

Friday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. Remote Writing in the Cyber World:  Journaling in the Time of the Pandemic. Use your journal for self-guidance and expanded creativity while exploring the personal search for wisdom. Add laughter,  happiness,  positive energy and awareness. Enjoy poetry and music while writing about these things. Imagine what we can accomplish when we use some optimistic writing prompts. Let's begin to create and explore new ideas with Barrie Kavasch. Join Ms. Abigail in a large shady spot behind the Junior Room. where we have fun building and playing with your very own Marble Run. With our supplies, basic instructions, and maybe a little help from Mom & Dad, you will create hours of fun! Please register in advance. All ages. Rain Date: July 29th.

Friday, July 24 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Outdoor Program! Chalk Mural. Mrs. Sam will be sectioning off a side of the old firehouse with chalk. Everyone is encouraged to add to our massive Chalk Mural so we can create something beautiful together even while we have to stay apart!  Register so you can get a time slot to work on the mural for half an hour and receive your very own chalk to work with. All ages. This event counts as one point towards the summer's 8 point goal. Get 8 points, and you'll earn a $25 VISA gift card!

Friday, July 24 at 3:30 p.m. Fractured Fairy Tales. Mrs. Sam will read several stories that have taken characters or plot lines from classic fairy tales and mixed them up or changed them around. Then she will announce the parameters of a Fractured Fairy Tale writing challenge! Grades 5th and up. This will be a pre-recorded program available on
Facebook. This event counts as one point towards the summer's 8 point goal - Get 8 points, and you'll earn a $25 VISA gift card!  

Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m. Virtual Kent Quiz Night IV. Quizmaster Sarah Marshall announces a fourth Virtual Quiz Night on Zoom. Teams can be 1 to 6 people (as long as you can communicate with each other ie texting/messaging, etc.) Must Register by Friday at Noon. Summer Reading Program for kids entering PreK-4th:
Summer Reading kicks off at the end of June with the first BINGO Board. Download the Board from our website each week, fill in your Bingos by doing the tasks, and send it back for a chance to win one of 6 AMAZING raffle prizes. Prizes can be seen in the Children's Room or on our website. Each BINGO counts as one ticket, so get to it! For more info.

His performance will be available virtually for a week and the link will be sent out to everyone to enjoy!
