FIESTA 2018: THE GOLD STANDARD
Our event is just one month away.  We hope that you will be able to join us on February 17 at the LaVista Conference Center.  Tickets are on sale now and are just $75 for an alumnae and one guest.  They can be purchased here. If you are attending with friends please make sure to note that in the special requests section.  We cannot wait to see you there!

Can't attend but still want to be a part of FIESTA?  Please consider donating an auction item or money for volunteer refreshments. 
 
The Class of 1988 will be gathering and sitting together at this year's FIESTA in recognition of their 30   Year Class Reunion.  Purchase your FIESTA tickets and note on your registration that you want to sit with the Class of 1988.

NEW ALUMNAE EVENT
Service is at the core of the Mercy Mission and as such the Alumnae Council is pleased to announce the First Annual Alumnae Day of Service on April 14, 2018.  We will be gathering at Mercy High School for the Alumnae Prayer Circle at 9:15am followed by sandwich making for the Siena Francis House and Youth Emergency Services.  Details on how to get involved will be in the February newsletter.

NHS/HOLY CROSS BLOOD DRIVE
Our country is experiencing a severe blood shortage because of inclement weather.  Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood! Mark your calendar now for  Mercy's National Honor Society and Holy Cross Catholic Church Red Cross blood drive. The event is on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 7:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Holy Cross School cafeteria. To sign up to donate blood, please go to   http://redcrossblood.org. and enter the sponsor code MercyHolyCross. You must be 16 to donate.


VOTE FOR MERCY
Spirit Catholic Radio has announced their sixth annual Superstar Catholic School contest to coincide with Catholic Schools Week 2018.  Mercy High School is in the running and would love to hold the Superstar Catholic School title for the second year in a row! 

Simply visit spiritcatholicradio.com, click on the Superstar Catholic School icon, and vote for Mercy.  Voting is held January 29 through February 3.  Each individual can only vote one time, so be sure to spread the word and get as many people to vote as possible! 

The winning schools receive a LIVE interview on Spirit Catholic Radio's "Spirit Mornings" show, FREE prayer cards for every student, a trophy to be displayed, a supply of coffee for the staff break room, $1000 worth of on-air spots that promote Mercy and what makes it unique, and promotion on spiritcatholicradio.com. 

Mercy High School should be recognized for all the hard work put into empowering young women to achieve their full potential!  Go vote during Catholic Schools Week to make Mercy a Superstar Catholic School!
