WAVE Beach athletes spent a good part of the month of July in Hermosa Beach & Santa Monica competing in the various Beach Championships for the 2018 season.

WAVE athletes played amazing and ended the season strong.

Come get yourself prepared for tryouts at the  Boys Open Gyms  available  FREE  of charge to any boys entering 7th-12th grade.  They are held Tuesday & Thursday evenings in the South Gym from  7-9pm .  Make sure to  register online  to update your info and sign a new waiver.

Movement of the Month

Jump for Joy

This move is reserved for parents only.  It allows your body and mind to express enjoyment after the long summer, while possibly amazing your kids with the heights you reach.  It is a key exercise in parenthood, however, ensure you have warmed up prior to attempting it - at least by having one cup of coffee.  Once complete, allow yourself a chance enjoy the peace and quiet before the carpooling and homework begins.

AVP Qualification!!!

WAVE's own Iya Lindahl (2016) who is a current WAVE summer coach & collegiate beach player at Cal qualified for her first AVP event in Hermosa!  What a huge accomplishment!  We were stoked to watch your poise as you came out on top in battle during the game to get in.
