North East England Supportive Weekend for bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents
21 - 23 September, County Durham

Come and meet with others who understand, and immerse yourself in the comfort and warmth of a dedicated team of bereaved parent supporters. A wonderful opportunity to spend a few days away with people who truly understand what it means to suffer the death of son or daughter, brother or sister or granchild.

Whether your loss has happened recently, or some time ago, here with us you can share your memories and love, and talk about how you really feel, in the company of others who share and understand your pain and sadness.
Bereavement Support Day
"Ripples of Hope"
Saturday 22 September, Hampshire
In a tranquil venue in Romsey, Hampshire this special day has been planned so that bereaved parents can join together and share precious memories of our child or children. Together we will find understanding and friendship as we find ways to somehow cope with the loss of son or daughter.

Walks for Bereaved Parents
The next London walk for bereaved parents is called Bridging the Gap - and will be on Saturday 1st September . All warmly welcome. We meet at Waterloo station so it's a very accessible day out for all.


A walk on the Kent coast is also planned on Sunday 2nd September for bereaved parents.

Helpline volunteer Michael cycles 100 miles for TCF!

Michael Walford-Grant is cycling a massive 100 miles in the North Norfolk Cycle Event on August 26th to raise funds for The Compassionate Friends.

Michael is a bereaved dad and is a volunteer on our National Helpline.

Good luck to Michael for his training and ride itself. 100 miles is quite a huge challenge!
