Father's Day
It's the most important job
That you will ever do.
Being a father to your child
For they look up to you.
You set the standard in your home
Of just how life should be.
Loving and kind or short and angry
That's what your children will see.
To raise the next generation
Is a daunting job, I know.
It takes time, love, patience, and work
But, in time, your efforts will show.
So on this Father's Day
I want to acknowledge you.
Never give up on this critical role
It's the most significant thing you'll ever do.
