Torrance school district voted to start the school year earlier than it was before, so starting next year, August 26th will be the first day of school for TUSD.

Employers in L.A. County - Minimum Wage Ordinance

A reminder for employers in Los Angeles County, the minimum wage on increased July 1st per the county ordinance, to the following:
  • $12.00 per hour for businesses with 1-25 employees
  • $13.50 per hour for businesses with 26 or more employees
Employee wages are scheduled to increase each year till they reach $15 hourly.

Enhancements to Inventory Reports
In 2018 QuickBooks Desktop Products

New features were introduced in QuickBooks Premier and Enterprise 2018


QuickBooks inventory reports could previously not be modified, but with the new 2018 updates certain inventory reports can.  

QuickBooks Premier and Enterprise users can now add columns or change filters for certain inventory reports: Inventory Valuation Summary, Inventory Valuation Detail, Inventory Status by Item and (Enterprise only) Assembly Shortage by Item.  

QuickBooks Enterprise users can also fulfill orders using a mobile barcode scanner - an exciting development meaning you do not have to be on a PC or other computer in order to confirm receipt of the inventory.
