Dear CCCS families and friends,

I just want to say, "Thank you!!" Contra Costa Christian Schools is so blessed that you are a part of this community. You are all amazing!  Because of your faithful and generous giving to our COVID-19 Relief Fund, CCCS will be able to purchase supplies to help keep students and staff safe this coming school year. 

We are working hard to prepare our school campus by August. We know that in-person classes really make all the difference for our students, staff, faculty, and parents, and we are anticipating more projects to help us get ready. Our projects include:
  • Expanded outdoor dining areas with improved landscaping, fencing & additional picnic tables, in order to create a more park like setting for our students. (Fresh air, sunlight, and open space are important for limiting the spread.)
  • Improved air filtration in classrooms and upgrades to existing ventilation devices such as our classroom exhaust fans.
  • Bringing in additional classroom furniture including 115 single unit desks in order to create more physical distance between students in the classroom.
  • Additional teachers are being hired to create smaller class sizes in the middle school. 
  • Infrared, touchless thermometers are being purchased.
  • We have hired additional summer maintenance staff to help with all of the necessary preparation projects including furniture moving, classroom relocation, landscaping etc.
  • The purchase and installation of additional hand washing stations and water bottle filling stations are among the most necessary improvements we are making across the campus. 
As we close the fiscal year, we invite you to continue to pray for our school. This is an interesting year, but we need not to worry but bring everything in prayer. If  you also feel led and would like to donate your service hours, please contact Kerin Jensen at [email protected].
