PYP's Raise Money to Equip Irby Ranch Maker's Space
Thank you, Pleasanton Young Professionals!
The Pleasanton Young Professionals (PYP), part of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, held their 3rd annual Charity on Tap last month, and we were honored to be the beneficiary this year! In the weeks leading up to the event, Sunflower Hill was also honored to be the beneficiary of Porky's Pizza Palace Gives Back event. Through the combined efforts of these two events the PYPs exceeded their fundraising goal and raised $12,600, which will be donated to equip the Maker's Space at Sunflower Hill at Irby Ranch. "The PYPs generosity will result in a diverse space where adults with developmental disabilities can create, learn, and thrive! We are very grateful to this dynamic group of young professionals for their enthusiasm for our mission and vision," stated SFH Executive Director, Edie Nehls.

Volunteers Make an Impact at Sunflower Hill Gardens
Spectacular New Picnic Tables!
Thank you to the Rotary Club of Livermore lunch club for building two beautiful picnic tables for Sunflower Hill Gardens! Founded in 1947, the Rotary Club of Livermore sponsors an Interact youth service club at Granada High School and gives more than $16,000 in grants to local organizations and schools in our community.
The new picnic tables will be enjoyed by our Garden volunteers and Ranchers for years to come!

Beautiful, New Raised Beds!
A special thanks to the hard-working volunteers from the Danville Rotary Club and Interact Club who built, installed, and filled three beautiful raised beds for the Gardens! Founded in 1954, the Danville Rotary Club supports local youth organizations, and community improvement projects, promoting literacy and wellness, and helping to eradicate polio, provide clean water and eliminate poverty throughout the world. The new, raised beds have already been put to use and produced many pounds of mouth-watering produce this summer!

Thank you to all the volunteers who work in the Garden each week and help with our programs. We greatly appreciate your generosity!
