TORONTO MARKET STATS FOR MAY 2020 
#COVIDEFFECT


IT WAS A "MERRY MONTH OF MAY"...all things considered!


 The housing market in the GTA and particularly in the city is "behaving" in a very responsible, measured and beneficial way!

The following paragraph is what I summarized with in last month's letter to you all.
"The months of May and June will be key indicators of how resilient our housing market will be, and I will be here to give you the facts and to help you with any concerns or questions you might have about your future Real Estate decisions."

And the fact is, our market is showing up in its most resilient fashion.
We have a very active Spring market which has been "deferred" into Summer and we are back to PRE-COVID activity as of mid June!!

Stay safe.  Stay informed.  Stay WELL!


2. Jill's COMEDY CORNER



 
As we "ease" into our new way of conducting open houses, buyers' visits, home inspections, staging and prepping properties for market from completely virtual and "touchless", I thought I would suggest our next phase...I've always believed in FULL TRANSPARENCY with my clients.!

I have an unfair advantage in this business.  I CARE more.

3.  MY TRIBE.  MY CLIENTS.  MY PASSION.

As most of you know, I am an ACCREDITED  Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).

Why did I pursue this extra study? Because I TOO AM A SENIOR and am now even MORE qualified to help any "seasoned" clients with perhaps, one of their most profound Real Estate decisions to date....that last move! 

I have had to MAKE THAT MOVE. 

I UNDERSTAND what worries/concerns are ahead of you. 

I CARE about the right outcome, knowing "ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL". 

I KNOW how you feel, but better than that, 

I KNOW HOW TO HELP you move forward with your lives in order to make the most of your occupations, recreations and DREAMS for your well deserved future. 

Finally, I AM DEDICATED to showing you that "not all seniors are created equal"...there's a lot more gas in our tanks and a lot more fun in our futures! 

I will now be posting a monthly article that I think will educate, amuse and delight "my tribe"....as well as everyone else who knows and loves a member of "my tribe".  You young 'uns can learn a thing or two as well.  You're right behind us after all!

 
                                        
  


  

4.  Jill's MONTHLY "SENIOR MOMENT" 




As you all know, this subject is on everyone's mind!  But I want to address the most vulnerable of the group that seems to be hardest hit by this novel virus: 
SENIORS.

As you may know, more than 80% of Ontario's Covid deaths have occurred in Seniors long term care facilities.  Not just here, but in many cities and states around the world. 

T his is an INTERNATIONAL OUTRAGE.  

The underbelly of many countries' health care systems has been exposed and there cannot be a return to "business as usual", where, looking after our national treasures, yes, SENIORS who have paved the way for future generations, who have paid their taxes and contributed to every aspect of our economy, are being cast aside as old, no-longer-needed OR valued people who have exceeded their "best before" dates.
If any of you know of someone in your world who is thinking about a move but is hesitant, in panic mode or on overload with the "overwhelm", please don't hesitate to connect with me.  I have a box of superpowers for them.

I CARE.  I'M ONE OF YOU.  I'LL FIGHT FOR YOU.  WE'LL WIN. TOGETHER!

This month the IRISES are showing off! Amidst all of our global woes regarding health, death, loss of income and jobs, do yourself a favour. Pause to appreciate "all the little things" around you. Pay attention to the surrounding beauty.  
These are some that I passed along the way on my "daily jaunt with jill".
Your environment must support your passions and pursuits.
