The Board of Education's next meeting will be held on  Monday, October 7, at 6:30 p.m. (please note new date and time) in the District Board room at 1665 West Drive, San Marino.  

There are numerous agenda items for the Board's consideration and/or action, including the following:

• A presentation of San Marino High School's self-study report to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges as part of the accreditation renewal process.
• Facilities Advisory Committee Chair Jeanie Caldwell will be providing a second reading of the FAC's findings and recommendations.  In addition, the Board will be hearing from Superintendent Jeff Wilson, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Julie Boucher, and several consultants regarding potential general obligation bond planning considerations.  The Board will be asked to approve the FAC's recommendations.
• Resolutions in support of the renewal of the City of San Marino's public safety tax and Red Ribbon Week.  The Board will be asked to approve the resolutions.
• A presentation from the Expenditure Review Team regarding savings in 2019-20 and 2020-21, including a presentation regarding a proposed Supplementary Retirement Plan.  The Board will be asked to approve the proposed SRP.
• A presentation regarding the proposed 2020-21 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Update and Budget Development Calendar.  The Board will be asked to approve the calendar.
