New executive chef, James Sumpter has created a menu that reflects our commitment to local wine-friendly world cuisine. Ann Arbor native, James Sumpter is a self-taught chef with a passion for fresh and local cuisine.
James has built solid relationships with local farms Tantre and Harnois Poultry to bring local seasonal produce and poultry to our menu and by October all of Vinology's beef will be provided by a local source as well.
James has 20 plus years in the industry with much experience about wine and food pairings. Diverse Chef experience includes a fine steakhouse, sushi, private clubs, French, and the Mediterranean.
