If the weather turns bad, the 9:30AM service will occur at the Church on the Hill 784 Sheridan Rd. Just look for our signs

in front of the church and at the entrance to the park.

New Trier Township Food Pantry

This Sunday, August 5:

This summer we have two ways you can help provide food for our neighbors in need:

1) Donate cash to the pantry jar during church at the park. We will give the cash directly to the pantry as donations drop off significantly in the summer while the need for food increases due to children being off school and not taking advantage of free breakfast & lunch programs.

2) Bring produce from your garden to church at the park. Gardens are starting to flourish, and the pantry gratefully welcomes fresh produce as that tends to be the most expensive and thus something their clients tend to spend less on. (Please wash the produce and place root vegetables in resealable plastic bags once dry at the request of the Pantry.)

Our Church: Did you know?

The magnificent Tiffany window and the cross in the Sanctuary are original to the building and were gifts given by the Hoyt family when the church was built. Youth & Children's News

Playgroup on the Patio - Wednesdays

Children and their parents or caregivers are invited to a weekly Christ Church playdate! Every Wednesday morning this summer, we are meeting in the McClain Room and the adjoining patio from 9:30-11:00 for some fun playtime. We have lots of toys, a simple snack, and coffee for the grown-ups! Friends are welcome. Questions? Contact Melissa Durbin, or Patty Lea.

DID YOU KNOW that our Parish serves approximately 150-175 hungry patrons each month at A Just Harvest Community Kitchen in Rogers Park. We'd love to have you join this ongoing ministry. Questions? Contact Jenny Smith or Suzie Peregrine for more information and/or to volunteer.

Most volunteers leave the kitchen with the sense that they have personally gained more than they have given. Come see for yourself.
