Porcia Chen Silverberg of You Belong Here Invites you to Vote on her New Book Design Cover!
This last year Porcia Chen Silverberg co-authored a book with friend and long-time nonprofit ED, Ana-Marie Jones. The title is Gatherings for Greatness: 24 Game-Changing Ingredients to Make Meetings the Secret Sauce of Your Success .

The book is in the production phase, and you can help in choosing a cover. Please click here to vote on a design. The poll will close in a couple of days. They seek the cover that would most inspire you to purchase or explore the book. Please give as much feedback as you’d like. The book's goal is to help transform meetings into genuinely meaningful and productive gatherings. It’s filled with examples, tips, and resources so that anyone can make meetings matter more to the people attending.

Porcia has also been busy building her startups, You Belong Here and You Belong Here Foundation — where she helps immigrant women to live their wholehearted American dreams through personal transformation and civic engagement.

Here's a note from Porcia, who would love your feedback:

It’s been wonderful to follow Thrive's activities and see some of you at meetings, so I wanted to reach out, say hello, reconnect, and share my life post-Thrive. I’d love to hear from you. Please, if you’d like to reconnect, I'm at Porcia@YouBelongHere.io . Thank you so much for contributing your thoughts, or for just dropping a note to say hi!

Thrive Event Recap
#EmpowerToThrive Box Skills Swap Project Results
Box Skills Swap was a result of an exciting Thrive collaboration with Box.org. The goal was to create a space where their employees (Boxers) could offer their skills and expertise to collaborate with nonprofits on important projects to help them deliver on their missions. Thrive promoted this incredible initiative and connected Box with interested local nonprofits. As a result, 15 organizations attended the event and received consulting services on projects ranging from consolidating databases to revamping job descriptions, to drafting privacy and data protection policies, all the way to creating dashboards to track progress on key measures (financials, performance, and donations).

Do you want to partner with Thrive on the next #EmpowerToThrive Project? Send us an email and let's discuss what we can do together.
