Created by Students at the Center Distinguished Fellow Arthur Eduardo Baraf, this podcast explores the many facets of student-centered learning. The Rhode Island Department of Education has named 22 PrepareRI Ambassadors for the 2018-19 school year. The PrepareRI Ambassadors are a select group of education leaders who help expand career education opportunities as part of Prepare Rhode Island. The Ambassadors come from different parts of Rhode Island's education landscape, such as district leaders, principals, school administrators, teachers, college professors, community leaders, and others.  For more, please click here .

iNACOL has published a new report about personalized learning across the nation. This report, based on surveys of both teachers and students, reveals that teachers are building student-centered environments and putting personalized learning practices in place. However, the responses also reveal the need for more support for teachers to connect with their students. While there has been progress made, the transition to personalized learning is not complete, and still requires additional support.
