Dear  Saint Rose Families,

I hope that you and your family enjoyed a great summer with ice cream, swimming and plenty of time outside.  If not, do not worry, there are still some precious days left before the start of school, and I am pretty sure you can still do all the summer things we love even after classes start!

Below you will see links to the class lists.  They come out every year during this week.  I know that there is a mixture of anticipation, excitement and maybe some anxiety for you and your children to see these lists.  Perhaps there is hope for a particular teacher, a specific elective, or special group of friends.  A great deal of teacher planning went into the creation of these lists.  They were created to optimize your children's potential based on conversations between future and former teachers.  While we do not take teacher or classroom requests, our teachers will be happy to work with you regarding specific learning goals, learning needs, social issues and more to help them prepare for your child.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our Meet the Teacher evening on Monday, August 13!

Sincerely,
Bryon Borgelt

Meet Our New Staff Members...

Please welcome our new teachers and staff and be sure to introduce yourself when you see them on campus!

Annie Arthur will be our four year old three day a week teacher.  Annie is a current Saint Rose School parent and our extended day director. She is looking forward to teaching in our preschool.

Nathan Rawlins will be our new computer teacher and technology coordinator.  Nathan has been working much of this summer to prepare our middle school iPads and to get our technology ready for the start of the school year.

Beth Johnson is returning to Saint Rose Catholic School after teaching for one year at Rosary to teach second grade. Beth is a former third grade aide at Saint Rose.  Beth has four children at Saint Rose and is happy to return back to Saint Rose.

Sharon Cichocki will join our faculty as our advanced math teacher for 7th and 8th grade.  Sharon retired from teaching gifted middle and high school students through a university program in western New York.  She brings a great deal of knowledge and enthusiasm to our advanced math students.

Rebecca Schmidt-Todak joined Saint Rose last year as our musical director. She will continue that role this year and also serve as our third grade classroom aide. Rebecca is an alumna of Saint Rose and excited to serve her school.

Erin Ohls is an additional part time intervention specialist who will work with our current intervention specialist, Jody Ward.  Erin will be working with our 7th and 8th grade students with IEPs. She will be here part time.  We are happy to able to expand our support services for our students.

Cindy Thome will bring her years of preschool leadership and teaching experience to our kindergarten readiness program.  Mrs. French is looking forward to working with Cindy this year.

Both Marge Elden and Susan Krasniewski are stepping away from retirement to spend time with our students during lunch and recess time.  Our students will enjoy these kindhearted women.
