As I was looking for a photo for the EC MAC I ran across this photo and what a fitting image. Jean and Cliff Long at a BIG birthday for Cliff a few years past. The Long family has given so much to our community and continues to bless our Fisher House annually through donations, brick purchases and $500 support for our upcoming Gala.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our stay at the Fisher House has been an awesome experience. The hospitality is stellar and the amenities are above just accommodating. You all have made our stay very pleasant to say the least.. Philippians 4:6-7 (....let your request be known unto God....)"
"Thank you all for what you do. I was so scared when I checked in but it was an incredible blessing to stay here while I supported my brother to become hopefully more on the road to full recovery. The love and care for all will never be forgotten. Please watch over my brother, quietly and I hope to see you one day with a smile to match that of a full recovery for my brother. Thank you to all the people that support your great work."

Watch the love grow. We have a family of givers who purchase a brick each year to honor the service of a military person. A note is sent to the recipient sharing the good news. This year, the honoree then paid it forward, purchasing three more bricks in recognition of other family members with military service.

Pay it forward, pay it present
What difference does a commemorative brick make? Visit our website to learn how Chris Curtis used the bricks in therapy as he learned to walk again. Bricks inspire and will help to build a 2nd Fisher House at Eglin.. Be a lasting part of our mission. Click

National Days in September
National Days are randomly selected to celebrate a nationally themed day and bless our guests. Be a National Days hero for our guests. House occupancy last week was 85%. With the Invisible Wounds Clinic ramping up their program and the groundbreaking of the Intrepid Spirit Center, occupancy demand is expected to increase.

What's your superpower? Looking fr a way to bless others through therapy meals? Provide a meal for families currently staying at the house. You may provide a home cooked meal in disposable containers and bring, or one that you have catered. You may also prepare the meal at the house if you can arrive by 3:30 for a quick overview. We have 12 suites in the home and guest numbers vary depending on occupancy. For those without base access, we can help with advance notice. Click
