Prevention and Education: How We Are Here to Help
During this time, it is critical to educate our community to check-in with loved ones and neighbors who may be experiencing relationship violence and bring awareness to services that are available.

How is Human Options Responding?

Our Prevention and Education team is working tirelessly to engage the community on how to identify and support victims. Here are a few ways our team has continued these crucial efforts safely:
  • Our Prevention Educator, Marissa Charlotte Presley, hosts a weekly Facebook Live session, discussing what the Personal Empowerment Program (PEP) covers. Join us every Wednesday through June 10th at 3:00pm @Humanoptions to learn the different aspects of Relationship Violence (RV) and how you or those you care about can become personally empowered!

"I am so glad that you are speaking about this. I know that there are a lot of people that need to hear they aren't alone right now."
  • We are launching our first virtual Teen Ambassador cohort! Teens across Orange County will be joining us via zoom for 10 weeks to participate in our Teen Ambassador program.

  • We are offering portions of our 40-hour training via distance learning. To sign up or learn more, contact Marissa Presley at mpresley@humanoptions.org.
