Phase 2 Directives from the Arkansas Department of Health are in place in Hot Springs Village. Amenity plans for pickleball, the outdoor pool, fitness center and indoor pool under these directives have been put in place.
Arkansas saw its second day in a row in COVID-19 case growth of more than 600. In the last 24 hours, 687 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded, bringing the total number of cases to 18,062 in the state.
As of today, 5,695 are considered active with 104 in nursing homes, 841 in correctional facilities and 4,750 in the community.
Since yesterday, there have been two more deaths due to COVID-19. That brings the total number of deaths to 242 in the state. The number of hospitalizations has risen by 17, bringing the total to 284. Of the 284 hospitalized, 66 are on ventilators.

Saline & Garland Counties
As of Thursday, Saline County, 217 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Saline County and 7,795 have tested negative. Of those testing positive, 174 have recovered. The death total remains at two.
In Garland County, 191 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 5,712 have tested negative. Of the people infected, 160 have recovered and one has died.
