The newest My Cape Cod Story video drops NOW!
After working for years in the fast-paced world of New York fashion, Meghan O'Connor (36) and Dani Niedzielski (34) were looking for a change. They longed for a community where they could really give back, connect, and make an impact, while also savoring a more laid back lifestyle - and they found it all on the far reaches of the Outer Cape, in the seaside community of Provincetown. They opened their shop,
The Captain's Daughters
- a mixed concept tea bar, boutique, and gallery - in 2017, along charming Commercial Street. Meghan and Dani's entrepreneurial journey brought them new friends and business partnerships, and plunged them head-first into the year-round P-town scene. Check out our newest video to hear about their story and learn why they felt Cape Cod was the perfect place to call home - both for themselves and for their business!

The
My Cape Cod Story project
was created to tell the stories of young people who have chosen to make their lives and careers on Cape Cod. Through this project, we'll be highlighting how Cape Cod's strong sense of community, high quality of life, and many career opportunities are drawing young workers from near and far. Each story is unique, but they all have on common thread – young people actively choose Cape Cod as their home because it is an amazing place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
