Visit Pacific County farmers markets to find fresh, locally grown produce, fruits and flowers as well as baked goods, sweet treats and artisan crafts.

Astoria-Megler Bridge turns 50

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the roadway that bridged the Americas. The Astoria-Megler Bridge celebrates 50 years on Aug. 13, and it's going to be a huge birthday bash. Events from the bridge's original grand opening will be replicated, including a parade across the bridge.
August: Kite Fest, oysters & more!

From alligators to oysters, August events and activities keep summer fun rolling on the Long Beach Peninsula. Jake the Alligator Man's Birthday kicks off the month's events Aug. 5-6, Jazz & Oysters is Aug. 13 in Ocean Park and the Washington State International Kite Festival is Aug 15-21. The 120th annual Pacific County Fair rounds out the month's events Aug. 24-27.
