FFCR: What a Difference a Month Makes
FFCR participates in Wear Blue Day,
Pinwheels for Prevention
On April 8th, FFCR staff joined other child welfare professionals and volunteers at the Children's Courthouse for Wear Blue Day, part of the national Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign. The Florida Campaign is a partnership of the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, the Florida Department of Children and Families, Prevent Child Abuse Florida, and others. The campaign aims to prevent abuse before it happens by recognizing that all of us - individuals, corporations, government agencies, and private organizations - have a role to play. The pinwheels symbolize the happy childhoods all children deserve, and that are the building blocks of bright futures.
FFCR thanks our amazing
Citizen Review Panel volunteers
Did you know? April is National Volunteer Month! Volunteers are the heartbeat of FFCR - without their dedication and commitment, there would be no Citizen Review Panel Program. This month, FFCR is hosting a delicious lunch for each of our 14 panels to recognize the dedication of our 60 active Citizen Review Panel (CRP) volunteers.
