On April 8th, FFCR staff joined other child welfare professionals and volunteers at the Children's Courthouse for Wear Blue Day, part of the national
Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign. The Florida Campaign is a partnership of the
Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, the Florida
Department of Children and Families,
Prevent Child Abuse Florida, and others. The campaign aims to prevent abuse before it happens by recognizing that all of us - individuals, corporations, government agencies, and private organizations - have a role to play. The pinwheels symbolize the happy childhoods all children deserve, and that are the building blocks of bright futures.
