CVB's Social Media Following Increases by 5,000+ in 3rd Quarter
The Convention and Visitors Bureau's (CVB)
Visit Santa Clara social media channels grew in the FY 2015-16 3rd quarter by 5,030 followers. Nearly 40,000 opt-in online users now follow the CVB's social media channels.
According to Forbes Magazine, a social media follower of an organization page is worth $100. Using that metric, the economic impact for Santa Clara in gaining these new followers was $503,000 for the quarter.
