Sow the Love Ministries // We're Off To A Great Start!
Residency Campaign Update

As I have shared the last few times I have communicated, we are still in our "100% supported in 100 days" fundraising campaign. We have 67 days left and about $9,000 more to go until we have enough money to get our Panamanian residency for all 8 of us.  Would you consider giving a Thanksgiving offering to our fundraising campaign? Then pray and ask God if you are to join our monthly support team. We have had several new monthly supporters commit this past month and are so excited and thankful for more partners. We are still shy about $2000 a month to be fully funded. It really does take the Body of Christ to go out into all the nations. Your support helps us continue to train, teach, and equip Panamanians, Guatemalans, Ecuadorians, Colombians, Americans, Canadians, Nicaraguans and many more from around the world to go and work together- Making His Name Great Among the Nations.

DTS Update

The DTS arrived safely back to our campus yesterday. Although there is only one American on the team, I scheduled them back so they could celebrate Thanksgiving with us. One of the dynamics of discipling students for 5 months, is we graft them into our hearts and family as we lead them. I can't help but love the students when I see them chasing after all God has for them. They are like sponges as they apply biblical principles to their lives; and then they turn around and share with every type of person they come in contact with...from the very least of these, to those in remote villages in the jungles and to church and community leaders. Next week, they head back out for one more stretch of outreach where they will be working in an orphanage discipling the kids in the morning and doing work projects in the afternoon; and then they will help a local church plant with some varying ministry projects. Graduation is December 12. And what a year...it has been.

Reflections of the Heart

Last Saturday, Tom and I took the kids to walk - and to pray and dream - along the Cinta Costera. It's a city park that lines the marina with sidewalks, a bike path, beautiful landscape - but no bathroom on this five mile stretch. Soon (well, in God's timing and His way) our family will be moving into the city so we can be closer to the people we minister to. While we love the jungle, we are far out and far away from the heart of the city and the people that live there.

As we exited the covering of the fish market to start walking with the kids, we looked up and saw this beautiful rainbow. The rainbow stretched across the sky from the apartment area where we hope to live over the marina....where one day we hope to see a ship that serves the remote Pacific islands of Panama. Can you imagine being a part of taking the gospel to see the lost saved, teaching and training of the gospel to those that will then use their lives to share this Good News, hosting health clinics and community health education, and bringing encouragement to churches and people? This is what we do NOW. Now...can you imagine using a Ship to go to remote places where roads and airports do not exist and training and discipling students to go to these remote areas on a Ship? YWAM Ships already does this...and now we are joining with many others to pray for ship for the Pacific islands of Panama. Join us and let's just see where our seeds of prayer take us.
