Rev. Wilson Irfan Mahmood was ordained into the ministry as a Lutheran pastor on November 9th. The ordination was held at Concordia Lutheran in Garland, TX, a generous and mission-minded congregation led by Pastor Kenneth Krippner and host to All Nations Lutheran Church (a Pakistani congregation). Pastor Irfan leads All Nations Lutheran Church in Urdu, his and his congregation's native language. He served as a vicar for two years while they were located at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Rockwall, TX. Pastor Baidaoui preached a sermon entitled "Kaleo," "Called Out," based on Romans 10:12-15 where the apostle Paul asked, "How can they hear unless someone is sent?" What a blessing that Pastor Irfan has been sent!

Fall Festival in Watauga a Success

Thank you to everyone who volunteered or attended the Fall Festival in Watauga on Saturday, November 1st. Watauga is home to the ministries of Disciples of the Way (DOW). A large crowd of people from the community joined us and learned more about DOW and its mission "disciples making disciples of all nations." Many visitors expressed interest in our upcoming programs, the Sewing Seeds of Faith (SSOF) sewing program and the English as a Second Language (ESL) program. Others were interested in volunteering (we are still in need of more volunteers!). The petting zoo and pony rides were particularly popular with the children, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a great event to bring the community together and tell them more about DOW. Please continue to keep the ministries in Watauga in your prayers. Contact the Dallas office if you are interested in volunteering if you are interested in volunteering for either the ESL or SSOF program.

Thank you for keeping the work of Disciples of the Way in your prayers!

Sincerely,
