Nancy Cunningham Clark
Nancy Cunningham Clark was the Founding Principal of Turnstone Consulting Corporation. She had over 25 years of experience managing the environmental review of complicated and controversial projects throughout California.  As Project Director and Manager, Nancy was noted for her strategic approach to the structure of EIRs to provide flexibility for applicants and decision-makers throughout the political and approval process.

Specializing in complex projects, she managed the San Francisco Mission Bay EIR, the first environmental document to receive a National APA Environmental Planning Award. She then oversaw the Mission Bay SEIR, for the 300-acre mixed-use Redevelopment Area that includes UCSF's premier medical campus, while managing the EIR on the Ballpark at China Basin for the San Francisco Giants. Nancy directed the recent EIR on the 706 Mission Street/The Mexican Museum and Residential Tower Project, which provide a home for the museum's renowned collection of art on the final development parcel in Yerba Buena Center, an area that she has worked in throughout her career.

Nancy knew institutional master plan and hospital projects, having directed environmental review of the Chinese Hospital Replacement Project, the historic San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and projects for Kaiser Permanente at the San Francisco Medical Center, the Vallejo Medical Center, and the ground-breaking, "green" Kaiser Modesto Medical Center. She reviewed over thirty major office buildings and many residential, hotel, and mixed-use projects, such as the Treasure Island/Yerba Buena Island Redevelopment Project and Parkmerced, in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, and elsewhere in California.
