Friday Favorites is a weekly update to the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and some of our Chamber's "Raving Fans" to keep you informed on what is happening at your Chamber. Enjoy some of the great wins as we continue to grow!
Collaboration creates momentum
It's been an electric week and our team is so grateful to have such an inspiring board leading this chamber into its next chapter and the momentum is contagious! From events to membership we have seen a significant spike in growth!
The first part of the BIG 5 conversation came to a close with over 1,081 ideas exchanged with step two beginning on Monday! People will begin "starring" their favorite ideas and our treasured initiatives for the community will continue to rise, as we look forward to collaborating with this community for our next great story.
Tonight I get to enjoy one of my family's greatest treasures... watching my sister Frances perform in "Tikki Tikki Tembo" on opening night at the Liberty Lake Community Theater...
Have a great weekend!
Kindly,
1,081 BIG ideas
The first stage of The BIG 5 process is complete! Thought Exchange is organizing and categorizing thoughts for the next step that will begin on Monday, July 27.

Thank you to our amazing Board of Directors who stepped up to the plate to bring new players to the team with commitments of $14,500 to date with more to come.
Going UP
Thank you, Hayden Homes, who took the ropes as Underwriting Sponsor for the Balloon Drop. It will launch on Sept. 25 before the featuring of The BIG 5 reveal.
Read All About It
Paul Read and the Journal of Business generously offered to support The BIG 5 once again with an ad for the next step of prioritizing the ideas.
Boys of Summer
Horizon Credit Union and Modern Electric Water Co. hit it out of the park as hosts of our recent membership drive with a baseball theme.
Not Taking it for Granted
So grateful for the opportunity to submit a grant application for a City of Spokane Valley Economic Development Grant to move The BIG 5 ahead.
Uncanny Ability
Thank you, Horizon, for sending your VP of Information Systems, Greg Robinson, to assess our phone system and network. We truly couldn't do it without our member partners!
According to Webster
Our lobbyist, Cliff Webster, has all the words! We want to thank you again for representing us for a big win for the Valley and supporting the Transportation Coalition towards a win for our region.
Game Changers
Chairman of the Board, Denny York, gets the MVP award for hitting it hard at the Membership Drive. In overtime, All-Star Barry Baker continued his home run streak for more members all week.
