WHAT MEAN YE THESE STONES? 

 

My church is on the eve of moving into a new sanctuary. After a special message commemorating our move, my Pastor gave each of his members a stone. He asked us to write a special message on our stone so it can be placed in the corridor between the old sanctuary and our new one. In the future, when new members join and ask what the stones mean, we can tell them of the time God allowed us to cross over from our old sanctuary to a new one.

 

Like the crossing of my church from its old sanctuary to the new, I know the day will come when I will cross over from my journey of preparation into full-time ministry as a Christian writer and speaker. So each time God has done something for me during my journey, I've written it down and placed it in a basket as a "stone" of remembrance. Each "stone" serves as a  permanent memorial of God's goodness to me.
