     eNews - January 2016
Here are a few highlights from the ongoing work at the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB).
CVB Publicizing Places to Eat for Super Bowl 50

In recognition of Levi's Stadium hosting Super Bowl 50, the CVB has created a campaign titled "50 Awesome Places to Eat in Santa Clara!" The blog can be found at SantaClara.org under Places to Eat.

It lists colorful photos and web links to 50 of the city's dining options. The "awesome" places to eat list highlights a wide variety of eateries from Character's Sports Bar & Grill at the Marriott to popular fine dining at Birk's Restaurant.

CVB Continues to Deliver Visitor Content for Super Bowl 50

In partnership with the City of Santa Clara, the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is working on a 32 page Santa Clara insert for a special Super Bowl 50 issue of Discover Magazine that will be distributed beginning January 29, 2016. Discover Silicon Valley's monthly press run of 30,000 copies is the largest of any local monthly guide.

Discover is distributed at more than 120 leading hotels in and around Silicon Valley for use at their concierge and front desks, as well as at airport visitor information centers, convention & visitors bureaus, high tech companies, corporate housing, chambers of commerce, relocation companies, universities, and more.

In addition to the CVB blog, there is a large amount of visitor information on the www.santaclara.org website and on numerous Visit Santa Clara social media channels managed by CVB staff. Super Bowl 50 is February 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium.
