Wow!  Thanks to You, a 4th Successful Year
2013 Year in Review

"You amazing, generous investors in America's future have taken part in a six-week, hands-on STEM program that emulates the full suite of departments and processes found in an engineering corporation as they go about their mission to design, build and market a new product in a highly competitive marketplace." Kathy Geise, President.

364 students from 26 schools  "shared how this experience has helped them explore their interests and, in many cases, solidify their plans to pursue a STEM education and career."

13 schools participated in the BEST Award with Marketing Presentations and Exhibits & Interviews in addition to the Game Competition and Project Engineering Notebook. 27 Faculty was supported by 39 Mentors.

Congratulations to all the schools on an outstanding 2013 competition!

Generous support was provided by Denver South and Thomas Jefferson High Schools for venues as well as 47 business partners and sponsors including 8 major business sponsors.

Colorado Gives Day Contribution Opportunity!
Tuesday 10 December - 24 Hours to Give Where You Live

Support Rocky Mountain BEST on Colorado Gives Day! On Tuesday 10 December 2013, Coloradans will come together again to raise millions of dollars for nonprofits like ours. Last year, Rocky Mountain BEST received $7,124 in donations.

Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, Colorado Gives Day asks you to give to your favorite charities through the website ColoradoGives.org, an online giving resource featuring every nonprofit participating in Colorado Gives Day.
  • 100 percent of your donation will come to us.
  • When you give online any time on 10 December or donate now with a Pre-Scheduled donation, the value of your donation will be increased by the FirstBank Incentive Fund.
  • Donate online any time during the 24 hour period of December 10 or pre donate now to "give where you live!"
  • December 10 Donation: You can watch this video to learn how to make a one-time donation on ColoradoGives.org on 10 December. From any page on the site you can search for charities by name, keyword, cause, city or zip code. You can further filter your search results by status (how recently they joined) or alphabetical listing.
After selecting a charity, select "Donate Now" from their profile. Although ColoradoGives.org features Colorado nonprofits, residents from any location who have Internet access can donate online.
  • OR Pre-Scheduled Donation: You will need to set up a donor account to use this feature.  Simply begin the donation process and after you enter a donation amount, check the box that says "Schedule a donation for Colorado Gives Day 12/10/2013. Also, note that once you set-up the scheduled donation, you will receive an acknowledgement email that only indicates you have scheduled a donation. A second acknowledgment e-mail confirming that the donation was made will be issued when it is processed on Colorado Gives Day. (Pre-scheduled donations will not be reflected on fundraising pages until Colorado Gives Day.

We hope you consider donating to Rocky Mountain BEST

at ColoradoGives.org on Tuesday 10 December.

On our Way to Creating a New Region
Hope You Help Us on the Journey

Our teams that receive an invitation to Frontier Trails BEST Regionals are invited to Ft. Smith, Arkansas to compete. RM BEST wants to become a Region in the not-too-distant future, so that our winning teams will no longer be burdened with the cost and time commitment incurred in attending such a distant Regional venue. Kathy Geise is just beginning the project of developing RM BEST into a Region of BEST Robotics, Inc.

We would not be successful without you!.  We are looking forward to working with you in 2014.

Sincerely,

Linda King
