6th Grade to participate in the Model Seder for Holocaust Survivors & Families
Sunday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m.
Families are encouraged to join their children at 10:30 a.m. for an interactive model seder featuring the 2nd edition of the HOLOCAUST HAGGADAH. The Haggadah contains stories by survivors documented by JAFTY teens and Sandalwood HS students, writings by Rabbi Leif, artwork and reflections by Temple Institute of Religion 6th grade students.  Additional Haggadahs will be available for purchase.

Whole School Family Engagement for Passover -- Let All Who are Hungry Come & Eat
Sunday, April 13,  9:30-12:00 beginning in the sanctuary with T'filah
Join us for a morning of family fun, worship and learning. Parents will have the chance to learn with the rabbis about Engaging your Child in the Seder or Passover-Easter Parallels or partake in a movement class - from Slavery to Freedom with our very own Tanya Norenberg. Together we will all learn about Food Insecurity on the First Coast with the Suzlbacher Center, Northeast Florida's largest provider of comprehensive services for homeless men, women and children and JFCS.

We are asking our families to support those less fortunate by bringing children's diapers of all sizes, baby wipes and adult incontinence products. In addition, there are Jewish Families during this time of year who need help to celebrate Passover. Please help by providing Matzah, Macaroons, Gefilte Fish and Matzah Ball Soup Mix.

UPDATE on TIR Director Search

Michelle, Robin and the TIR Director Search committee are continuing to move forward with the search process and recently gathered to conduct second round Skype interviews with the candidates. The committee appreciates the opportunity to be a part of the process to choose a candidate that will best suit the needs of our growing Religious School and congregational family, and we look forward to sharing additional details as they become available.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly at  [email protected] or  [email protected].
