The mother of a five year old with cerebral palsy sought IMT treatments as potential relief for her child who although mentally strong, was suffering physically and unable to walk.  The affected muscles pulled the wrong way and either contracted or were flaccid.  Bone alignment was impacted and structural functionality severely impaired.  The concerned parents wanted an alternative to the surgeon's recommendation of cutting bones and muscles.  

Monthly IMT therapy focused healing touch to the affected muscles, activating the body's capability to stimulate correct muscle development.  Family members (instructed by IMT therapists) supplemented with at-home work. 

Within two years, the child was able to stand up, sit down and walk on her own; correct muscle development continued.  She enjoyed her treatments, the now positive outlook was as heart-warming as the significantly increased functionality.
