Important Dates to Remember 

3rd Grade Family Engagement Program

On Sunday, 2/9, 3rd Grade Parents and/or Grandparents are encouraged to attend TIR with their children/grandchildren. Families will learn about Shalom Bayit - Peace in the home. An invitation will go home with the children this weekend.
 
Attention 8th - 12th Graders 
You won't want to miss the Camp Coleman Shabbat on Friday, 2/21 as YOU will be reading the torah!!  All students interested in reading from the Torah in Hebrew or English, please contact Ronni at [email protected]. The parts will be manageable - 4-5 verses long - and there are people here to help you, so please step up! Take advantage of this chance to read from the Torah and share your skills with our whole congregation.
  
4th Grade Family Engagement 
On Saturday, March 1,  4th Grade students and their Parents and/or Grandparents will attend Bat Mitzvah Shabbat Services in the Sanctuary followed by lunch with Rabbi Cohen. Stay tuned for more details.  
  
  

Dance: From Slavery to Freedom
For all Students and Madrichim - PK-12th grades

Paradigm Flux will be  creating a dance with our children to perform 3 times at Temple. The dance will represent the road to freedom that our ancestors took leaving Egypt and will be accessible for anyone who wishes to participate. All experience levels are encouraged from PK-12th grades.
  
There will be 5 rehearsals following TIR in February and March and a snack will be provided. Performances will be at the Women's Seder on 4/3 which is from 6:00-8:00 PM and twice during TIR on Sunday 4/6 and Sunday 4/13 . Click  here for additional information.

Help Sisterhood Help our Children Attend Camp Coleman

You are cordially invited to take part in the first annual "Please Don't Come," Sisterhood's fundraising  event in support of Camp Coleman Scholarships. Please stay at home and and send Sisterhood a donation - no amount is too small -  to help send  our children to Camp Coleman this summer.  For more information, please click here.

 

Kol Tov Shul-In

All 6-8 graders are invited to the very first Shul-In at Temple. Arrive on Friday, 2/7 for worship and dinner followed by activities including a joint program with JAFTY. Federation's Super Sunday 

On Sunday, 2/2, we will come together in spirit and in action as one community to make the world a better place. Please answer the Federation's phone call and make a generous donation to the Annual Campaign so that thousands of Jews in need in our community, in Israel and around the world can get the help they need. 

 

Benefit Concert for Orly Ohayon   

 We hope you will attend the Benefit Concert on behalf of Orly Ohayon this coming Sunday. A silent auction and refreshments will be part of the program along with entertainment by world renowned classical guitarist, Stephen Robinson and many others. The concert will be held at The Jacksonville Jewish Center, 3662 Crown Point Road.  Suggested minimum donation is $20.  Proceeds from the concert will help pay Orly's mounting medical bills.
