Join us in welcoming two new members of the Suffolk Care Collaborative team.
Kevin Bozza, MPA, FACHE, CPHQ, RHIT
Director, Network Development and Performance
Kevin has over 18 years of experience in healthcare administration providing leadership both at the hospital and system level in quality improvement, clinical decision support, education and training, project management and pay-for-performance programs. Kevin has worked extensively with physician leaders and executive staff over the years to implement quality initiatives. His most recent position was with the Long Island Health Network where he spent six years as Vice President for Clinical Resource Management Program.
He holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from New York University in Health Policy and Management and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and credentialed in healthcare quality (CPHQ) and health information management (RHIT).
Althea Williams, MBA
Senior Manager, Provider & Community Engagement
Althea is a healthcare professional with over 20 years healthcare management experience. For the past 8 years she worked at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside as the Administrative Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program and Centers; the Employee Health Services; and overseeing the operations of the Prenatal Care Clinic. Her achievements include, Project Lead for the Center's NCQA PCMH project and the Hospital Medical Home Demonstration Project; and Co-Project Champion for EMR implementation. Additionally, she served on hospital-wide initiatives including Co-Facilitator for the Cultural Initiatives Committee; Co-Chair for the Outpatient Service Excellence Team; coordinator for the annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebrations; and member of the hospital's DSRIP leadership team. The recipient of several community awards including the Town of Hempstead's Pathfinder Award, Althea is a graduate of St. Joseph's College where she received her MBA in Health Care Management.
Both Kevin Bozza and Althea Williams will be leading the Community and Partner Engagement branch of the Office of Population Health at Stony Brook Medicine in support of the DSRIP program.
