Rebekah Murphy Immitt
In this workshop professionals will participate in a lesson from start to finish through the eyes of a Special Educator and Early Childhood Specialist. Starting with the transition into the activity, the presenter will provide modifications for strategies and materials, role play behavioral scenarios and then give techniques to use in the classroom. Professionals will leave feeling confident in educating all learners.
Rebekah Murphy Immitt has dual degrees in Education and Special Education and a Master's in Early Childhood Development. She taught at a private, special education school and worked with children who have autism and multiple disabilities for 10 years. She has worked for a state funded early intervention company for the last nine years as a Developmental Specialist. Rebekah has worked privately in family's homes for the past seven years creating and implementing programs to meet academic and behavioral needs.
