Advice from our Agency: Updates to your Home

It may be Jazz appreciation month but don't let your party blow the roof off. With the weather warming up you may be considering some updates to your roof. With a harsh winter behind us having your roof looked at is important to prevent the spring showers from coming inside! Heavy snowfall can cause damage & ice damming, creating sudden issues in the event of heavy rains. Not only is roof-work good maintenance, it can also provide a discount on your homeowner's policy! Having your roof replaced might lower your homeowner's premium by a few hundred dollars!

Don't forget to let us know if you are doing major updates to your home so we can keep your policy up to date.
