Kings Island Drive Construction & Road Closure Information for the Month of March
Traffic on northbound Kings Island Drive has been reduced to one lane from Western Row Road to Great Wolf Drive. All southbound lanes remain open.

This lane closure is needed in order to complete curb and paving work on the east side of Kings Island Drive.

We anticipate this traffic pattern to be in place through the end of this month, as work continues (weather permitting).

The Kings Island Drive Improvements project involves widening Kings Island Drive to better support incoming traffic off of I-71.

Improvements also include the addition of a left turn lane into Kings Island for southbound traffic, new medians, new curbs and gutters, new traffic signals, overhead signage, decorated lighting and a bike path from Western Row Road to Great Wolf Drive.

This work is fully-funded and expected to be completed by the end of 2016.

Socialville-Fosters Road Improvement Update
In addition to the mainline 71 interchange improvements, there are a number of local network improvements taking place in southwest Warren County to improve travel and provide the infrastructure to support new travel patterns related to continued job creation, economic growth, and activity in our area.

Socialville-Fosters Road, one of the key arteries in southwest Warren County, will see construction this month. Improvements on Socialville-Fosters Road include widening the roadway to five lanes, replacement of the bridge over I-71 and the construction of a roundabout at Innovation Way. Crews are beginning to work on the bridge replacement, which will require several closures. Beginning Monday, March 14, there will be a closure on Socialville-Fosters Road at the I-71 bridge for approximately 40 weeks. Click here to view the Warren County Engineer's Office update regarding Socialville-Fosters improvements

As always, please slow down, be mindful of distractions and travel safely through construction areas.
