Volunteers of the Month    LeJean Harkins and SOON
LaJean Harkins along with 4th and 5th grade  students from Our Savior's Lutheran School have blessed the residents at Contact Ministries during the Holidays. The group is called SOON (Serving Of Other's Needs). The students come at Christmas time each year to bring a gift for each child and a Bible for each mom. They also generously donate a meal every time they come. This is a very special time for the families at Contact Ministries because LaJean and her husband take family photos of each mom and her kids.  They print these pictures for each mom to have. For the Easter Season, LaJean also organizes the Easter Egg Hunt for our kids here at Contact.  This year they brought Bible Story books and gift cards for each mom.  LaJean and the SOON group have been volunteering for over 15 years!  She says, "We love the ministry of Contact Ministries and believe God is working through all of you in great and mighty ways to help these women and children find better paths in their lives."

Thank you LaJean and the SOON group at Our Savior's Lutheran for going above and beyond to always make our holidays here at Contact extra special!!!
