A LIGHT FROM
THE PAST ... FOR THE FUTURE

The Tifton  Heritage  Foundation has been photographically chronicling the construction of Colony Bank's new building at the corner of Second Street and Central Avenue.

In the Heritage Foundation's photo at left, the old light from the market/ice building that previously stood on the site is now lit again.

The light and the rounded block glass corner of the former building were its most distinguishing architectural elements. Colony Bank was preserved that look with a light tower and a rounded glass corner, as seen below.

The bank is expected to open soon.
