 New Year, New Officers
CCTID Annual Meeting Held On January 15
At its January 15 meeting, the CCTID elected new officers to serve the board for the upcoming year.

Here's a breakdown of the new member line-up:
  • Jeff Wright, Miami Township Administrator, will now serve as Chair of the Board.
  • Ken Geis, Union Township Administrator, is now the Vice-Chair.
  • Clermont County Engineer Pat Manger remains the Secretary-Treasurer.
  • Matt Van Sant and Andy Kuchta will serve as board members.
  • Ohio House Representative John Becker and State Senator Joe Uecker also remain on the board as non-voting members.
Many thanks to Matt Van Sant for his service as Chairman and his leadership in 2015.

Though the seating at the front table may have changed a bit, what hasn't changed is the board's mission and their ongoing commitment to manage and support project work that eases congestion, expands access to current and future business and shopping locations, and improves safety for all who travel through the area.

Congratulations to everyone and thanks for your leadership as we head into a productive 2016.

A Little Cold Weather Doesn't Phase Us...
Despite the chilly temperatures, as weather allows, work still continues on several of our big projects.

The work on Branch Hill-Guinea to install underground storm sewers has concluded, but drivers through that area may notice some 'clean-up' work related to the recent emergency repairs. Weather permitting, work will resume to complete this project in the spring.

Branch Hill-Guinea improvements are taking shape.

For the Ivy Pointe Extension, utility companies are completing some utility relocation work throughout the winter. That project will wrap-up in the spring,  when work to extend the existing roadway and establish a new connection with Aicholtz Road will be completed.

The extension of Ivy Pointe will support local economic development and increased travel through this area.

Underground storm sewer work is also taking place on the  Eastgate South Drive Roundabout. This work is  expected to be complete in the Spring/Summer of 2016.

The Eastgate South Drive Roundabout will help manage traffic flow around this important local retail destination.
