Grant Funding Deadline Extended
Grant funding is available through the DC Taxicab Commission for vehicle owners to apply to receive money to obtain electric vehicles, wheelchair accessible vehicles, or to operate a Neighborhood Van Service. An electric vehicle will be on display in the parking lot across from the DCTC office on February 9 and 10. Take the opportunity to see, feel and drive. The submission deadline has been extended to February 29, 2016. This is also an opportunity to acquire an H-Tag when a new vehicle is placed in service through one of the grant programs. However, it is best to move quickly as funds will be exhausted once the grants have been awarded.  Learn more
