What to work on this week...
Last week we asked you to get someone from your organization to reach out to past clients and ask for their business . This should have not been too hard. Now we want to give you some ideas on how your team can search for new business. 

1. Networking - Get out there and meet people in your local community. Check out the upcoming schedules for your local  Chamber of Commerce or Tourism Organization and join some meet-up groups. You gotta get your name out there. And while we love the internet and believe in the power of social media, old school networking works too - especially if you are in a small community. (We included some networking tips  in a past newsletter.)

2. Twitter - Do you follow #hashtags for golf and weddings in your local area? Have you started using a tool like Hootsuite to manage topics that you can provide information and services for? Are you contributing to the conversation so that your business is being heard? You can take this one step further by adopting a customer relationship tool where you can record your social interactions with potential leads and follow up on them.

3. Newsletter - And we know you are getting sick of this one but make sure to use your newsletter to generate a leads list that you take action on. Write a very specific newsletter this week about something you are selling - holiday parties, 2016 memberships, tournaments etc - and follow a process to make that newsletter generate revenue.

A Winter White
Looking for a good white wine to serve with curry or a good cheese board? Last week we tried a 2012 Mount Boucherie Ehrenfelser that we purchased last year. It did not make our all time favorites list - like their Gamay Noir does - but it was good with food.
