An Amazing Year Stepping Out
Looking back over the past year we stand in awe of God's faithfulness to us.  I was transitioning out of my role as the Youth/Young Adults Pastor in Delaware, we were selling our house, fundraising like crazy, and going a little crazy ourselves.

The #1 lesson that I have learned this year is that you only need enough faith to get of of the boat (in reference to Peter and the disciples seeing Jesus walk on water and Peter getting out).  I have learned that if God is truly calling you to do something, you only have to take the first step, Jesus takes it from there!

Yes, the wind and the waves have been terrifying at times, but as we fix our eyes on Jesus, He carries us through any storm that comes our way.

We are looking forward to this next season of ministry in Costa Rica.  We feel that the first six months have laid a solid foundation for our family and the ministry!  We choose to step out of the boat again.  Thanks for jumping out with us!
51% Towards Goal

This month we were able to add a few more monthly supporters, and we had a few of our previous monthly supporters increase their giving!  We are now 51% towards our new goal!
If the Lord is putting it on your heart to invest in missions in Costa Rica,  you can donate by clicking here  Thank you so much for helping us to minister in Costa Rica!
Darrell is almost ready to Go!
Thank you so much for the flood of encouragement and support for Darrell as he begins his 5 month Discipleship Training School in San Jose, Costa Rica. He is now 85% towards his fundraising goal!  If you would like to help him reach his goal, you can give here and we will make sure he gets it.  God has been so faithful to him!

Would you commit to pray for Darrell over these next 5 months?  3 months will be Bible training and discipleship, 1 month doing local outreach here in Costa Rica, and 1 month ministering in another country.  Pray for new friendships to form, a great mentor, and for continued direction and guidance.  If you know Darrell at all, you know that God has been setting him up for something big!  We will miss him, but we are so excited to see God's plan unfold before him.
Updated Blog Posts
This first blog post is a "Must Read!"  Right before we came to the U.S.A. for Christmas I as able to lead an amazing trip.  You have to read this true story of what God did in and through us:

The week before Christmas I had the privilege of leading a mission trip to San Martin, Costa Rica with a group of 13 individuals to put on a Christmas Outreach to an estimated 1,000 children.  This was a little intimidating for me because the team had never met (except for those who traveled with a [...]...»

And for the warm fuzzy feeling with Biblical truths, check out this one:

We have two different types of chickens.  I don't know what they are called, all I know is that they both produce eggs. One is big, the other is small.  One makes little white eggs, the other makes large brown eggs. Our little hen named Shell (after Grandma Shelley Norman) has been a great mommy and loves [...]...»
