A Great Program

While we are still finalizing the full agenda for the June 13-15 conference, we know there will be sessions relevant to all of our members.  Here is what we have:

Keynote Address
Carol Hollowell, executive director, Switchpoint Community Resource Center, St. George, Utah.
Beyond food and shelter: Switchpoint Community Resource Center is a stepping stone to independence for homeless individuals. It is part of the CirclesUSA network, a program designed to help families break the cycle of poverty. Carol and her husband, Bob, set out last August to cycle across the U.S. to visit other shelters and raise awareness and funds to help break the cycle of poverty. Hear from Carol how this experience helped shape her views on homelessness in America.

General Session: Mastering the Art of Telling Your Story
Presentations by Daystar Life Center, FamilyAid Boston, St. Vincent de Paul - Marin County
Digital storytelling is now essential for any agency. Learn the lessons of revamping a website, stepping up your social media efforts and using video. There are tips in this session a member of any size can use.

Concurrents: Transportatin Centers
Making Your Program Indispensable
Handling the HR Issues of Volunteers
