Happy Holidays from P&A!

The holiday season is here, and the Class of 2016 clients are busy putting the finishing touches on their college applications. Students and parents are eagerly looking forward to a relaxing winter break without any essay drafts or Common Application questions on their minds. In the coming days, many of our seniors will receive Early Decision and Early Action news. We are thrilled for our students and the exciting opportunities that await them.

This time of year is also when we can step back and reflect on the landscapes of our lives beyond the college application process, school work, extracurricular activities, and all of the other commitments that occupy our days. On that note, I want to invite you to read a recent blog post, "The Best Holiday Gift." I hope that you'll take a moment to view the video in the article as it communicates important messages in a powerful and meaningful way.

"...Before it is too late, pick up the phone, send that holiday card, write that email, get on that plane and do whatever else you want or can to make sure that your loved ones know that you love them. We are constantly reminded of the fragility of life, especially given the rise of violence in today's world. Don't take anyone for granted- a grandparent, parent, spouse or partner, sibling, child, friend, teacher, coach or anybody at all who has helped you grow or made life a little better for you. Say thank you. Say thank you today and often. Don't wait for another holiday season to share what is in your heart with those who fill it."

Happy Holidays!
