New Speaker Announced for The Annual Retreat!

We are very excited to announce our closing Keynote Speaker!  You will want to stay to the very end of the retreat so you don't miss this presentation.  See below for more information.

Registration for the Annual Retreat has exceeded expectations and we have 91 people registered to attend to date!  We have increased our room block at the hotel but when they are gone, they are gone!  Members, sponsors and speakers should make sure they register right away.  As in past years, there will be a few spots available for AceTech Ontario Alumni or qualified CEOs of Technology Companies that are not currently AceTech members.  The cost is $1,800 and we encourage you to reach out to Jo Ann right away if you are interested.

We are very excited to be creating for the first time an Event App which you will download onto your computer and mobile devices and use for registration and to obtain all your information regarding the Agenda, Speakers, Frequently Asked Questions, Map of the Resort etc.  You will also be doing your Speaker Evaluations and Surveys through the App.  Take a look at the app and all the other information on the Retreat here

How To Grow A Company From $2M to $100M
Jim Estill, CEO DDE Media Company

Why do some businesses fail to grow?  Why do some businesses grow then fail?  What separates the successful from the failures?  Learn the secrets of how to successfully scale your business from Jim Estill, the closing Keynote Speaker at the Annual Retreat.

Jim Estill started a technology distribution company from the trunk of his car.  He grew that to $350,000,000 in sales.  One claim to fame was 99 consecutively profitable quarters prior to selling.  He then ran the company that bought his from $800,000,000 to $2 Billion.

He then retired for the first time and moved to NY to start an early stage tech fund.  As a tech person, he had invested in, advised, mentored and been a board member of many tech companies including Blackberry where he sat on the board since before they were public for 13 years.  Starting a VC was a natural extension of this.  He has invested in over 150 start ups and sold 25 of them.

Jim has fantastic lessons of success and failure to share with everyone at the Annual Retreat on Friday afternoon so plan to stay right until the end!
