The CityLight Prayer Breakfast held on the first Thursday of each month, has served as a networking platform for Faith-based, Corporate, Community and Government leaders to create a vision for our community as "One nation under God." CityLight Prayer Groups seek to transform local communities by partnering with organizations to provide hope with our words and help with our hands.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all denominations to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.

We invite your to join us and our guest speaker South Carolina Senator and Pastor Darrell Jacskon. Senator Jackson has been a member of the South Carolina State Senate since 1993. He also has been in public relations and marketing for over 25 years and currently serves as President/CEO of Sunrise Enterprises. He is the Senior Pastor at Bible Way Church on Atlas Road, which his father founded almost 50 years ago. Darrell is also very involved in the community having served on numerous boards and commissions including Sistercare, Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way of the Midlands, Palmetto Conservation Board, and the Columbia Free Clinic.
