 HOME-STAYS NEEDED

PRISMA is looking for a few home-stays for students for the duration of the festival. The students will arrive in Powell River on Sunday, June 15th, and will depart on Sunday, June 29th. If you or someone you know is interested in hosting a PRISMA student, please send us an email:

[email protected].

Read this testimonial about the home-stay experience of two PRISMA supporters from last year:

"We had the pleasure of hosting a young lady from Costa Rica for the duration of PRISMA last year.  She was a joy to have in the house: she was always curious about the various things that were unfamiliar to her and continuously asking us questions regarding her understanding of English.  She was a college student who had a very good command of the language, but had fun learning the use of "slang" in our culture.  She was not a finicky eater and was willing to try anything.  Before she left, she had the pleasure of seeing racoons, eagles, but no bear (which disappointed her).  We continue to keep in touch via Facebook, which is fun for both of us."

-Terry and Lorraine Stokes, PRISMA 2013 Hosts
