AWESOME Volunteers Ready Kits and Game Field for 2015 Competition Kickoff
RM BEST Monday Kit Team: The Kit Team completed school Consumable (Blue) and Returnable (Red) kit preparation. They cataloged returned items, repaired broken items, ordered new items, inventoried everything, and ultimately filled 36 Returnable totes and 36 Consumable totes PLUS 11 Best Buy Foundation Loaner Kits. It was a 9 month effort requiring hundreds of hours by Elwyn Allyn, Carolyn Bauer (Boss Bauer), JoAnne Fry, Jan Gorski, Lori Lazuk (the consumable kit team lead extraordinaire!) Patty Gaspar, Phil Hardy, Angie Matthias, Scott McEwen, Jim Myers, Gary Pratt, Judith Schlesinger, Lois Walton, and Linda Wheeler. Special thanks to Scott McEwen for the monumental effort of testing all the returnable kit electronics - over 35 kits. You were all indispensable in making the kits ready for handoff to the student teams at Kickoff!
RM BEST Game Field Builders: The Game Field Team has all the game field components ready for the game reveal at Kickoff. Their exciting Game Field will be revealed on 12 September so look for photos in our September newsletter. Thanks to Carolyn Bauer, Michael Caston, Carolyn Cook, Roger & Sandy Erickson, Hilary Hawker, Mike & Linda King, Jim Myers, Caroline Nguyen, Natalie Plaza, Gary Pratt, John Pituch, Dave Porter, and John & Lois Walton for making it possible.
