Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program (HRSA/AAP)
(1) Developmental Questionnaire Work Group: The twenty-five member committee, with national and international affiliation, is in the process of authoring 'vision questions' and designing a pilot program to introduce these questions in medical home and early education and care settings.
(2) Outreach to existing networks through partnership with the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care and MDPH School Health Services: Family and Community Engagement grantees (100) of the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care have attended educational sessions about children's vision and are distributing educational materials to families across the state. In collaboration with the Live Well Springfield KIDS Coalition, community leaders in public health, pediatrics, early education, and families have attended a series of educational presentations, community screening events and vision screening certification sessions.

(3) Expanding vision messaging
through partnership with Reach Out and Read.
