Angela Johnson to teach 2nd Grade with Morah Linda
Angela Johnson has accepted the position as a Second Grade Judaic Studies teacher for TIR. Angela has been volunteering every Sunday morning for a year and a half working with our first grade class as a teaching assistant and as a shadow with one of our students in 4th grade.  Angela is a delightful human being, has a lovely manner with the students and is a true asset to the school and the congregation. If you do not know her by name, you may know her by sight. Angela is the person who signs for our deaf worshipers during services.

As a nationally certified interpreter for the Deaf, Angela serves as an interpreter at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind working in classes from PK-adult. She is excited to step up to this position and blend her passion for people, education and the Jewish faith. She is currently pursuing her degree from Gratz College in Jewish Studies.  In her spare time she loves to spend time with her wife, Shawna, daughter Angelique, her furry babies and her friends. Angela is also an avid scrapbook guru and loves to read and cook delicious food.
